It’s awards season, which can only mean one thing: Yet another Emmy nomination or Golden Globe win being lauded upon the hour-long comedic drama BALK, a very real and critically-acclaimed television show. Here are all of the answers to your burning questions about this elusive-yet-omnipresent TV series:

What is BALK about?

BALK follows Balk, a high-powered executive type who is some kind of lawyer or sports agent or political consultant — it’s not important. What’s important is that Balk is the boss of a rotating ensemble of attractive, twentysomething, junior executive types who all look up to him as a mentor, despite his salty, sarcastic attitude. Because of their youngness, Balk’s underlings approach their work with convoluted new ideas and unearned confidence which Balk is quick to dispense them of. (Balk is rarely in the wrong in this regard, with the exception of each season’s Scrooge-esque Christmas episode.)
