Hey everyone! I’m looking to get my soon-to-be eight-year-old niece a cute birthday card. Bonus points if it’s animal-themed — she loves all animals (pandas especially) and even became a vegetarian last month lol! I know there used to be a greeting card store near Fifth and Seventy-Second, but maybe it closed?? I’d rather not resort to Amazon, but I will if that’s the only option 🙂

You put a SMILEY FACE emoji after saying you’d shop at Amazon “if you have to”? Sure, Jan; I definitely believe you don’t shop at Amazon every day…

Please consider your carbon footprint before you attempt to buy ground tree carcasses. They are LIVING BEINGS. Today, we can just as easily send messages electronically — or why don’t you visit her in person? It’s pretty selfish. Think about your planet.

@Donna Clark Really appreciate the suggestion, but unfortunately, my niece lives in Portland, Oregon, so it’s a little hard for me to travel there, considering the seven-hour flight and the fact that I recently broke my ankle in a skiing accident.
