Recently, the Paris Olympic organizing committee revealed that two triangular red mascots are the shape of Phrygian caps would serve as mascots for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. (https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2022/nov/14/paris-2024-olympic-mascot-paralympic-mascot-phryges-france)

Following is the list of finalists that also embodied the French spirt yet fell short of being designated the official mascot for the 2024 Olympic Games:

6. Chloe the Mass Produced for Airport Arrivals Frozen Croissant & Her Sidekick Camille the Day-Old Baguette

7. Gabriel the Pervy Policeman Talking to Your Daughter

8. Marcel the Handsy Mime

9. Gerard the Unsteady Giant Empty Jeroboam Bottle

10. Louis the Striking Laborer

11. Hugo the Hop-less Frog

12. Matisse the Romantic Meal Disrupting Street Accordionist
