Day 1: 5 squats, call your mother.

Day 2: 10 push-ups, compliment a stranger.

Day 3: 25 jumping jacks, make dinner for your wife.

Day 4: Rest day. Take a break and just do something for you: take a bubble bath, enjoy a robust Pinot Noir.

Day 5: Back to the challenge! Walk for an hour, donate blood at the local Red Cross.

Day 6: Climb the stairs of a 20-floor walkup, volunteer at a soup kitchen.

Day 7: 100 burpees, drive your mother-in-law to her Covid booster shot appointment.

Day 8: Another rest and relaxation day! Get high, binge-listen a podcast.

Day 9: Hold the plank position for three minutes, help your children with their math homework.

Day 10: 175 glute bridge chest presses, help direct traffic for the Covid testing center in the parking lot of your local mall.

Day 11: Carry your wife and her book to her book club meeting two miles away, gift her a clever quip she can use about Damon Galgut’s The Promise.

Day 12: Rest. Avoid your family. Go to a dive bar, sample every available Scotch, eat your weight in popcorn, get everyone to…
