When I Take Off My Sunglasses Slowly And Dramatically, I Mean Business
Here. We. Go.
I take off my sunglasses slowly and dramatically.
FYI, that’s a non-verbal cue that I mean business.
What kind of business? Serious business.
I’m going to do it again just so you know how serious I am.
Did you see how I slowly slid my sunglasses part of the way off my face, then finished removing them with a dramatic flourish?
That precision is an indication of my seriousness.
So is the intense eye contact we’re holding.
Don’t do it. Don’t look away.
Great, now I’ve got to put my glasses back on and start over.
Only this time, I slowly slide them to the tip of my nose and then look down at you over the top of my glasses.
When I say look down at you, I mean that literally and metaphorically.
You may not ask why.
Now watch as I put the glasses on the top of my head. A bug or something flew in my eye and I need a moment to flush it out.
Okay. I’m good. Let’s try this again.
