Well… there’s not much to “introduce” since we had a soft launch go bonkers a couple weeks ago.

So what is Slackvite? It’s a tool to help you launch, build, and manage public Slack communities.

But wait — what’s a Slack community? Consider it the next evolution of a forum. Or a Facebook-less Facebook group (yay!). The benefits include much more attention, very high engagement, and free.

Why start a Slack community? Well, we will let Buffer enlighten you.

So what does Slackvite have to do with any of this? If you want to start a public Slack community you need to create a form for people to sign up. And if you are scared of seeing code you need to manually invite these users to your Slack community as they sign up.

Enter Slackvite. It allows you to login to Slack and create a public landing page for users to sign up for invites… in 30 seconds. No code needed.

Got questions? Join us in Slack at https://slackvite.com/slackvite or ping us on Twitter.

We’ve just released some much needed fixes since the soft launch including fixes with the Slack OAuth flow and a misconfigured SSL cert. Now we are up and humming along. Lots of ideas in the pipeline for the product including user management and payment systems.

Follow along on Medium for product updates, insights, and more to help you power your Slack community.
