We’re proud to be a partner sponsor and host venue for DSW, in addition to having several Slalomers present free educational sessions throughout the week. Join us for a panel discussion on what it takes to become a data driven organization. We’ll discuss common challenges and share practical advice from our panel’s experience in the trenches.

Friday, Sept. 20

Stop Measuring Usage, and Start Measuring Value

12–1:30 p.m. at Slalom

When asked how they know whether a feature will be successful, people respond that they’ll just measure how many people are using it. While usage can certainly be one element of a successful ship, at GitHub we’ve found that it’s more important to define and measure what value you’ll create for people.

Planning to attend DSW? Keep an eye out for Slalomers! We’ll be out to mix and mingle, soak up the entrepreneurial goodness, and of course present on some great topics. We look forward to meeting you soon!
