Slash Magic — Finding you the best spots to eat and drink on the fly

A cool feature that people often overlook when using Slash is our Slash Magic. It’s actually pretty powerful and can be a huge help throughout the day. Slash’s system is set up to facilitate whatever conversation you’re having. Slash Magic is there for you if you want it, but can easily be disabled if you start finding that it doesn’t suit your needs. Either way, I’ll outline some of the ways Slash plans to save you time. I’ve chosen to only cover the Magic that relates to finding the user something tasty to eat or drink. Below is by no means Slash Magic in its entirety, there’s a ton more Magic baked into the keyboard that we’ll save for another blog post. Lets take a look at how Slash helps you stay happy and fed.

So, say you’re having a conversation about meeting up for a coffee, Slash will go ahead and suggest nearby coffee shops. Simple and straightforward, now you’re saving time you would’ve otherwise spent discussing potential nearby coffee shops.

If you’re talking about beer or texting about heading to a bar, Slash will recognize that and act ahead by suggesting nearby bars and appropriate restaurants. Again, sweet and simple, it’ll give you a list of bars in your neighborhood with their price range, ratings and distance from you.

Happy Slashing and feel free to message us directly at hello@tapslash.com if you’ve got any cool ideas for Magic features.
