Slash Payment now supports Privy!
We are pleased to announce that Slash Payment (https://slash.fi/) now supports the crypto wallet “Privy”.

Slash Payment has been available since August 2022, and has been introduced and used as a seamless crypto payment service, supporting 9 blockchains.
The crypto wallet “Privy” allows users to create a wallet using an email address and can also easily connect to non-custodial wallets, so it is also integrated into apps such as Zora, OpenSea, friend.tech, and Blackbird.
Currently, the average cryptocurrency ownership rate in the world is 6.8%, with an estimated 560 million users worldwide.
In countries such as the UAE, Singapore, Turkey, and Argentina, the ownership rate relative to the total population has reached 18–25% or more, and the crypto payment market is expanding with the following economic benefits:
・Merchants who accepted cryptocurrencies payments saw an average ROI of 327% and an increase of up to 40% of new customers.

In this market environment, it is expected that infrastructure will be developed that will allow not only crypto users but also general users to easily pay with cryptocurrencies.
So, we have decided to support Privy, which allows new users to create a wallet using their email address.
We aim to support people’s onboarding to the crypto market and will continue to drive mass adoption of crypto, including the Slash Card, which is scheduled to be released in 2025.
