When everyone wants something from you, even the dog

Sometimes when my dog looks at me with those sweet brown eyes and gold, furry face and wet nose on my naked toe while I am sitting in my chair trying to write, I want to say, “Not you, too?”

My dog is good, don’t get me wrong. He really is woman’s best friend but he is also another living breathing being that wants…
