slideship.com — The new presentation creation & publishing cloud service
Last week, we launched slideship.com. The cloud application developed by us is Slideshow as a Service to create your presentation slides and to ship to all over the world.
You can write your slide quickly using Markdown format. You can generate a PDF file, and You can also publish it seamlessly.
Background — Our Issue
Nowadays, information contents are dispatched by many people through various ways. Presentation Slide is one of the formats. It is widely used in business, communities, and conferences.
On the other hand, when we adopt a slide format to create materials, we should care appearances not related to the essence of contents. The process of adjusting Font-size and Object-position are painful for us.
So we started to develop slideship.com. we would like to solve these issues.
What is the value of our products? We will explain three key features.
1. You can create your slide with a beautiful theme easily.
On slideship.com, you can create a beautiful and clear slide simply by selecting preset themes.
We also prepared some brilliant gradation color themes.
2. You can write contents using Markdown
You can write your contents using the Lightweight/Real-time Markdown editor.
Especially, for software engineers, copy and paste programming code is a laborious task. slideship.com supports Markdown format. It means the syntax highlighting is enabled.
We also support math formula. If you are working on machine learning, and if you are going to publish the results, slideship.com is a good choice. Alternatively, even if not so.
3. “DRY” again, you can manage contents smartly
Finally, we have to ask you “Do you remember how much you created your self-introduction slide?”
There are many solutions to solve problems on creating slides. We respect all of them. However, we think existing approaches are out of “the DRY principle.” We need to reconsider about resources management seriously.
