Heart Bleeder

Drowning in the bitter blackened soul amongst the depths of the darkness brought to light.

Sitting in a pool of blackness,
Surrounded by the nothingness that has seeped from my body,
The darkness grabbing at my feet from beneath me,
As I surrendered to the depths of the pain consuming my flesh,
Gnawing away at my being,
The liveliness within dying slowly,
The cage opened ever so slightly,
Allowing the monsters to reach from the bars and attempt to free themselves,
Buried alive and striving and scratching to break free,
A shallow grave dug from the words never spoken,
Covering my skeleton with the dirt of secrets that shall never rise to the surface,|
Dripping with regret and melancholic screaming internally,
Silently murdering me with the songs from the past,
As it severs my skin and eats me alive,
My ragenous thoughts consume me,
Controlling my body as it ushers me towards the fiery pit,
Burning my innards as it draws me near,
Demons calling my name, beautiful shadows,
Quieting the echoing bellows written in blood,
Carving its mark in my soul,
Laughing as it watches from below,
The smell of ashes and flames fills my senses,
Crawling from the abyss,
Out from under the venom that spews from my core,
Disheveled and broken,
Bruised and sore, my heart blackened with sorrow,
