Catching feelings in a world full of emptiness
Transparent and translucent, Exposed and Empty, trudging through the waters of the shallows of life's depths is equivalent to catching feelings for a vacant-minded, emotionally unavailable person.
No brain, no spine, no heart, no innards at all. Mindlessly swimming, hoping to be caught by someone who is a shallow seeker, who won’t see through their skin they wear as a mask on the outside. Unaware that their personality is as transparent as the waters they inhabit.
Afraid and terrified someone may actually see the true colors they possess, they travel from water to water, seeking any attention and validation, but once they receive it, they return to the shallow end of the depths.
Dodging the seekers of the deep or anyone who may have the substance and courage to find out what makes them, them, or worth catching. Discovering they are colorless and glow in the dark.
The seekers (the jellyfishers) seem happy because they are oblivious to the actual truths of the cavernous hole that is known as the human heart, which is nonexistent in a jellyfish.
