Three months have whizzed by, and SlingShot DAO’s achievements are noteworthy. Four rounds have been successfully completed; $8,000 in USDC, 20,000 $SAND, and 2 million $SLING in rewards have been awarded to users who submitted winning game ideas. Additionally, $120,000 USDC has been committed to studios to transform these ideas into tangible gaming experiences.

Nexonik, the community’s first hire, has begun orchestrating daily Discord events. In conjunction with the weekly Discord Mixer and the launch of the inaugural GameJam, a dynamic community of creators is steadily emerging.

Yet, despite these successes, the community’s exacting standards have necessitated a five-week intermission. This pause is intended to address queries and reassess certain statistics. Thus far, SlingShot DAO’s emphasis has primarily been on product and tech, inadvertently overshadowing the growth and marketing sectors. This intermission will provide an opportunity for the marketing group to regain its momentum and announce SlingShot DAO to the world as a hub for content creators and UGC enthusiasts. With all elements in alignment, Round 5 promises to deliver a significant impact.
