The Evening Standard’s all new annual food festival has a place in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea this summer.

The Night Market will be hosted in Perks Field, just next door to Kensington Palace, from June 7 to 18, where you will find a diverse range of exciting foods from every culture.

“We’ll be eating the entire world in one city,” claims Grace Dent, restaurant critic at the Evening Standard and creative director for the event. “London loves food and we’re here to prove it.”

Owner of Mayfair’s Michelin star restaurant Murano, Angela Hartnett, will be promoting unrecognised talent in the form of vendors who are more used to catering to the festival scene than for an a la carte eatery. In this street food meets high-end collaboration you can expect to find an eclectic collection of innovative meals and snacks from across the globe.

From Turkish Bagels to English muffins you certainly will be spoilt for choice.

And it’s not just food that the night market has to offer. The June 7 launch kicks off with London’s very own DJ, Norman Jay MBE providing the soundtrack. The next week and a half is filled with a host of DJs and live music while a whole high street’s worth of bars will keep visitors lubricated with cocktails, smoothies, craft beer and more.
