Trying out this Medium thingy

Talk about a UX that prompts you to write

Was reading Hatching Twitter, as part of a book club at work. It was a fun and quick read. Quite predictably, I tried to find missing parts of the story online. Especially, what happened after the end? Did the characters die to live another day?

I stumbled upon Jack’s shenanigans (trying to mimic Nick Bilton here). It wasn’t all bad, quite frankly. I wasn’t in a mood to judge either. Just exploring.

Jack’s, of-course, all over the web. Especially with his popularity thanks to Square, and him being back as Chairman at Twitter. But, it wasn’t quite obvious what Ev and team were up to.

Then one of my colleagues mentioned Medium. That’s how I landed here. I must say I’m quite impessed. The UI is clean. It gets out of the way. No distractions. Makes me want to write. And, keeps me writing.

Pet-peeves — not many. The main one being that Ctrl + Backspace doesn’t work. That’s about my biggest complaint. You can pretty much tell — I like this Medium thingy.
