What do you need to know to start?

You will have a list of people you want to talk to who you think can give you great feedback and who may be your customers.

What is the objective?

Talk to as many people as you can in a guided conversation so that you get clarity about who your customer is, how they frame the problem and what is important to them about the solution you bring.

Why is this important?

All the research in the world won’t give you the information you need to have a deep understanding of who your customer is. Customer avatars are made from data points — many, many data points. This process will help you identify actual real people you can use as your ‘avatar’.

The Project

Have the conversations, gather information and use that feedback to create your offer. What you want is to create a Mafia Offer — one they can’t refuse.

How will you you know you have succeeded with this project?

Most conversations will end with a sale. This will take time as you learn and adjust what you say.

What is important to carry on to the next projects?

You build your business for you and you craft your offer for your customers. Your offer is what will make or break your business. You will have an offer that is working.

Every week I post the next Project. You are welcome to work on it here, ask questions in the comments, answer questions in the comments and let us know how you are doing.
