The first day is critically important in welcoming your new team members, setting expectations and inculcating your culture.

What is the objective?

To document processes for onboarding team members.

Why is this important?

This sets the stage for your continued relationship and documenting your process means you won’t leave anything out.

What do you need to know to do this?

You need to know what is important to your team members

The Project

Design and document your team’s journey. You have many different team members and you may need different processes for each one. I have a great onboarding tool for staff and we help you adapt it for your business and your teams.

How will you you know you have succeeded with this project?

You will have a process that makes team members feel welcome and gets them working quickly.

What is important to carry on to the next projects?

You will carry forward the beautiful sense of welcome you extend as you grow your team.

Every week I post the next Project. You are welcome to work on it here, ask questions in the comments, answer questions in the comments and let us know how you are doing.
