Only after you have validated your idea and made sales should you consider wrapping your idea in a business.

You build your business for you; you craft your offer for your customers.

In Stage 1 you dove deep into why you are starting a business, what problem you want to solve and how, broadly, you will solve it. You got clarity around what you need in your business, what you bring to your business and what you need to fill in to make your business thrive.

In Stage 2 you danced with your potential customers until you found out who they are, what problem they are solving and what they need from you to feel that their problem is solved. You gathered their words so you can talk about your business and attract the right customers.

You know what you need to make the best business for you and you know that you have people interested enough to buy.

Now it is time to turn your business into a business. In this stage, you register your business and wrap it in the appropriate legal structure. You investigate banking, insurance, regulations and permits. You begin putting administration and management into place.

In Stage 6 you will turn all this work into definite processes, procedures and systems. Right now you start by putting a bare framework into place.

Every week I post the next Project. You are welcome to work on it here, ask questions in the comments, answer questions in the comments and let us know how you are doing.
