You have your first customers, you know what you are selling, to whom, and what is important to your customers. You have officially started your business. Now it’s time to test, refine and formalize your customer’s journey.

You got your first customers by selling directly to them. You worked closely with them to engage them and draw them into your business. You did everything you could to delight them.

Now it’s time to dive deep into experimentation mode and test each piece of the Customer’s Journey until you are confident it is all working.

You learn exactly how to delight your customers, then tell those stories of your best customers to attract the next ones. You craft a process that entices, engages and draws your customers in. You refine what it takes to delight these each and every customer that comes your way. Only then do you turn to marketing, automation and delegating the work.

Before you spend any money on marketing, advertising or support, you need to know it will work.

Every week I post the next Project. You are welcome to work on it here, ask questions in the comments, answer questions in the comments and let us know how you are doing.

For more resources, deeper discussion, personal, robust support and to get the Project Guides join the online Small Business Academy . Registration is open now.
