As you grow and your business grows; as the economy and your community changes, your needs and your business’s needs can diverge and even conflict. You need a process that allows you to check in regularly to keep you and your business moving forward together.

What is the objective?

To review what is important to you what you need and want to get from your business.

Why is this important?

You build your business for you. You can only make it work for you if you know what it is you want it to do for you.

What do you need to know to do this?

Check back into the work you did in the first stage

The Project

You get to build any business you want: You need a process to continually check back with your needs as you build your business. Lifestyle businesses have a bad name these days as being unambitious. The reality is that every business is a lifestyle business because it affects your lifestyle. And your health, your relationships and your fulfillment in life.

In the Small Business Academy, you learn of amazing examples of people like you, in your industry and the wide range of how they ‘do business’. You learn how to be deliberate in the design of your business so it works for you.

Your business can only grow to your capability. In this project you evaluate your entrepreneurial, leadership and management capabilities to put a personal business growth plan into place, using tools I’ve developed.

You will develop the process to continually check in to keep you and your business in sync.

How will you you know you have succeeded with this project?

You will have a clear vision of how you and your business work together and what you need to do to grow yourself first.

What is important to carry on to the next projects?

You will carry forward this vision of what you need from your business.

Every week I post the next Project. You are welcome to work on it here, ask questions in the comments, answer questions in the comments and let us know how you are doing.
