Thin line of difference

There’s a thin line of difference between

being nice and being a pushover,
being confident and being a jerk,
being expressive and being unnecessarily chatty,
being vigilant and being obsessive,
being judicious and being miserly,
leading and dominating

Sometimes, we are inadvertently within the good side of the line. Some other times, it takes a conscious attempt to stay in the borders. It’s worth pausing and assessing, every now and then, where we are and accordingly reposition ourselves.
