Sahakar Nagar / about

Sahakar Nagar was formed in the 1960. It is an old Municipal Colony with many residences, a market and many convenience stores. A mill complex, a slum, residential colonies of Kidwai Nagar and Madhav Nagar are located around Sahakar Nagar- which is largely a residential area (colony) in Wadala, located Behind Wadala Bus Depot & Opposite Royal Industrial Estate.

Sahakar Nagar used to be considered as a central suburb of the city of Mumbai, but is now well within the city limits. It boasts of many old buildings and families that have been living here since many years. The area is bordered by Dadar on the West, Matunga on the Northwest, and Sewri on the South.
