“I could feel my anger dissipating as the miles went by — you can’t run and stay mad!”

― Kathrine Switzer

Just for today…

If you’re feeling stressed today, or angry, or sad, or any sort of negative emotion — go for a run.

If you’re not a runner, go for a bike ride.

If you’re not a bicycle rider, go for a walk, or a swim, or a yoga class, or kickboxing.

When we exercise, we get out of our minds and into our bodies.

When we’re in our bodies, our minds have the time and space to process.

That processing gives us the deeper answers we need.

If you’re more of an analytical person:

  • Exercise = Mental Processing at a Deeper Level + Cycle is Disrupted + Clarity of Answers
  • No Exercise = Mental Processing at a Superficial Level x Cycle Continues + Lack of Clarity

Try it and see what happens.

Possible Side Effect: a healthier mind and body.
