Because they will improve your life most dramatically

“It’s the people we hardly know, and not our closest friends, who will improve our lives most dramatically.”

― Meg Jay

Just for today…

You have probably heard the theory that we are essentially a combination of the 5 people we spend the most time with.

Side Note: That doesn’t need to be a bad thing. Especially if they’re the 5 people you admire most in this world. However, if you think about those 5 people and realize there are one or two, or five, that don’t align with where you want to take your life, it might make sense to begin your migration away.

Think about some people you hardly know, but seem to have done well in an area of life you would like to learn more about. Reach out to one of them and invite her/him to coffee or lunch.

Once the excuses of why you can’t or shouldn’t calm down in your mind, get out your phone and send them a message.

Who knows what’s on the other side of that text.

P.S. If they don’t write back or don’t want to meet for a coffee or lunch, reach out to someone else.

Fortune favors the brave.
