#003 Small Talk with Monkixx— Duffer
The 3rd installment saw myself and RNDM speak to Duffer [AKA Ben Sona] a multi bass genre DJ, head honcho of Bassport FM and 140 Ninja.
This podcast was a really interesting one, as we go in depth about all the pies he has his fingers in.
We discussed how he started Bassport FM, and what implications he came across. He spoke about how he fell in to IT which gave him the tools to create Bassport FM. He mentioned the start of his love for bass music which grew in Bristol and how he now keeps that moving now he lives in Spain. We speak about the future of himself as a DJ/Producer and how the Basslab and Bassport FM are going to grow going forward. The forthcoming releases from 140 Ninja and the first potential vinyl release.
It was all massively interesting as we chat about how he plans to create the BASSCOIN, a cryptocurrency for just the music scene. It gets very intense and massively enjoyable for me to sit and chat with him as he has been a massive part in the labels growth and a massive supporter of us from day dot and we will be continuing to be a massively linked!
