#001 Small Talk with Monkixx — Galactic Steppa & Francis Shaw

The very first podcast and loved every minute of it. Galactic Steppa [GS from here on] and Francis Shaw [FS from here on] came over to my home and we kicked off the chat talking about how GS first became interested in dance music and how his brother who DJ’d transfered his interested from acid house to jungle and D&B. I asked GS how he first got in to production and how DJing came second. We spoke about our frustration with the new age DJ and the growing trend to add nothing to the scene apart from poor standard mixing and negativity. FS then discussed his thoughts on the controller vs CDJ/Turntable debate, with us discussing how the NI stems should be very appealing to DJs and producers alike.
