Two New Images Have Been Released for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux’

Two new images for the sequel to Todd Philipps’ Joker have been released. Joker: Folie à Deux will feature Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Joker, with Lady Gaga is also starring in a lead performance.

It isn’t the first image that’s been released of the film, which is slated to be in theaters next year. On Valentine’s Day an image was uploaded by Todd Phillips. Another image was posted in October.

The film’s plot is alleged to revolve around musical therapy sessions between Gaga’s Harley Queen and Phoenix’s Joker, and was inspired by Francis Ford Coppola’s One From the Heart, Liza Minelli musicals like Cabaret, and Martin Scorsese’s New York, New York, starring Minelli alongside Robert De Niro.
