Today, we’re sharing 5 tools to help you plan your content ahead + a FREE template so you can create like a pro that you are.

Google Sheets⁣

Good old Google Sheets — founded in 2006, it has become one of the most relevant tools in the history of the internet. This is one of the best 100% FREE tools for creating a content calendar and collaborating with designers, videographers etc.

How to Use:
Create a Google (Gmail) account
Open Google Sheets (Mobile App/Web)
Create a new sheet & share with collaborators

Because you’re our person, here’s a FREE Content Calendar Template for you to get started.

Simply make a copy of this sheet and start creatin’ & collaboratin’ 🧡

Over⁣

We LOVE comfort, and so any tool that allows us to create quality graphics and videos right on our smartphones will always be a fav.

How to Use:
Download the Over App (Mobile only — iOS/Android)
Browse the hundreds of templates to choose from
Start creating! 🚀

Over also has a “Discover” tab in-app that provides you with lots of design tips to help you make sure you’re getting the best out of the tool. Additionally, you can upgrade your plan to “Over Pro” to get access to collaboration with teams and more templates.

Canva

Canva is essentially Over, so the information above applies. The only difference is that Canva gives you more free templates to choose from, and is available via Mobile App (iOS/Android) and Web.

UNUM⁣

If you know this tool, is it pronounced Uh-Noom or Uen-Uem? 🤔 We’ve been arguing about this thing for a while now. Pls epp.

Anyway, UNUM is a great tool for scheduling your visual content ahead and planning your Instagram feed. That’s what we use for the Smarketers Hub account, and it sends us reminders once it’s time to post. Easy peasy!

How to Use:
Download the UNUM App (Mobile only — iOS/Android)
Sync your Instagram account
Start scheduling your feed

Preview

⁣Preview is a great UNUM alternative if you love working on your desktop. You can create an account, sync your Instagram, and start planning your feed straight from your computer.

We hope you find some or all of these tools useful to help you create and plan great content ahead.
