The era of 21st century is era of technology and development. Technology is probably greatest gift of god. Moreover, it’s mother of civilization . Technology seems to have impact in every sphere of life. The automation of manual parts, revolutionary achievements in education, base of economy, space discoveries and many more ,these are all possible due to technology. Globalization is the greatest achievement after all. Technology has increased the productivity of almost every industry in the world.
Currently residing on 21st century- the era of science and technology, human tends to approach highest level of modernization.
The technology of recent world is getting faster and has been an inseparable part of our life. The world wide ease of access of information is possible due to technology. In fact, ease of mobility, better learning techniques ,innovation and invention, creation and communication, cooperation and coordination -these all are result of tremendous development of technology .The things previously done with human power now can be easily carried out by wise technology use. The developments are growing like an avalanche; huge thanks to technology. With just one click we can obtain the information we want. Human thoughts can be conveyed immediately. Life span has increased due to use of technology in medicines. By these it’s obvious to call technology the divine gift.
Adopting appropriate technologies leads directly to higher productivity, which is the key to growth Biotechnology, nanotechnology, ICT, telecommunications and further emerging technologies have given new drive to us. Even the recent noble prizes awarded for vaccine of Hepatitis C and development of method of genome editing are, discovery of outward world ,these scientific revolutions have underpin economic advances, improvements in health systems, education and infrastructure. From studying the universe, of which we are tiny part to studying the complex structure of tiny parts within us, it’s reasonable to appreciate technology. The development of photo voltaic for production of electricity through sunlight, use of nanotechnology, telecommunications has summarized world to a socialized room, surgical inventions elongation of life, end of the epidemic and more blissfully advancement in lifestyle are the greatest gift of technologies to today’s world.
Though human kind tends to reach next level of comfort through these development and technologies, the laziness and dependence due to these seem to lie at peak point on the hidden side. Technology have simplified most works. People have their details prevailed in cell phones; no longer in their memory. Even if the calculator is a good invention, man no longer makes mental calculation and no longer works his memory. Development of technology has altered human physiology. It makes us think differently, feel differently and even dream differently. It affects our memory, creativity, attention span, and sleep cycles too. The rate of development of technology and the amount we depend on technology today is superior and inevitable .
