Swingset

Tiny Tod sat on the swingset

All alone and couldn’t move.

He waited for a push but wouldn’t force it,

But nobody would come to shift his mood.

He sat on his seat and waited all day,

More patient than the sun who had gone astray

The stars were out, Tod didn’t care,

He would wait until someone was there,

And then at last Smart Sally came,

She pushed Tod up, up, up, and away!
