An insight into rounders.

Rounders is one of the oldest sports in England, with the sport being invented in 1744 during the Tudor times. Rounders may not be as popular as football or rugby, however it is a sport that is loved by many, including Alice, a rounders player from the Portsmouth university team.

Alice joined the rounders team during her first year of university, and hasn’t looked back since, all while developing a passion for the sport. Alice has since become a part of the rounders committee, helping organise training sessions and matches with other universities.

Today, I interviewed Alice to get an insight into rounders, and why people should play the sport.
