‘Zoom has really changed my business’: London business owner on the benefits of post-pandemic working.

COVID-19 has changed the way we live and work over the past three years. It saw non-essential businesses closing their doors to the public. One industry hit hard was the fitness industry, particularly personal trainers.

During the first lockdown in March 2020, nine in ten personal trainers saw their income decrease, with average monthly earnings falling by over £600. From this, the new age of zoom video calls allowed for freelance personal trainers to get their businesses up and running again, from the place we had been advised to stay, the home.

Caroline Stead, a personal trainer from London, discusses her experience of moving her business online, and why she like 31% of UK trainers, will continue to offer sessions via zoom.
