Riders are a unique group of people, but what makes them unique? Well, the first obvious thing is their love for the two-wheeled beauties, but there is much more to it. Riders love freedom, adrenaline, danger, power, the smell of gasoline, roaring sounds of exhaust pipes and a lot more. Many riders share the love for motorcycles for the same reasons that make motorcycling appealing. If there is something people strive for in life, it is to find a soulmate, a group that they can be a part of. There are many soulmates between riders on motorcycle rallies.

Riders like to hang out

Motorcycle rallies

Many have established Motorcycle clubs, which are forms of brotherhoods with a certain cause. Or on the other hand, simply to be amongst people that think alike. Motorcycle rallies are just that, a place and opportunity to be among people that understand your passion, your needs and your lifestyle.

The most straightforward definition of a motorcycle rally would probably be the one from Wikipedia: »…a gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts. Rallies can be large or small, and one-time or recurring. Some rallies are ride-in events, whereas some involve days of riding and an actual gathering only at the end of the ride.«

Meeting with a purpose

Most motorcycle rallies have a certain purpose attached to the whole event, which in most cases is some kind of a tradition, and in some cases it is charity. On the other hand, some motorcycle rallies have a special theme. Themes like vintage or custom motorcycle rally, while others are intended for any rider with any kind of a bike. Just recently I was in contact with one of the guys that spreads his love for motorcycles through YouTube vlogs. We were talking about our business and the equipment we are developing when he came to an idea. He invited us to participate in a special kind of a motorcycle rally that he is organising. What makes this event special? Well, you definitely should read on.

His name is John, better known among riders as Ghost Ninja, and he comes from San Diego. Motorcycles are not his only passion, his passion is talking about motorcycles and sharing everything around them with his community. He writes amazing stuff, he shoots motorcycle videos and reviews motorcycle equipment and gear. He made awesome looking apparel, and he is organising an event that takes place every year, where his fellow YouTube vloggers gather at one place, and all of the followers can meet them in person. The event is called LA 2 SD, it will take place on the 27th of January. Scroll down to see what the event organiser John said about this event:

»LA 2 SD all started as a way for Content creators in the SoCal area to come together, Ride, and make some entertaining videos along the way. It allows people who do0not always get the opportunity to ride together to link up, have fun, and make some creative content. When we started this event there really wasn’t any meetups for Socal like this. We also wanted a way to establish a community in this giant ocean of YouTube and YouTube Vloggers.

On top of that, it was a way to give back to our fans who watch us every week, year after year. A place they can come say hello to their favourite YouTube Vlogger. From the first year with 2 fans and 17 YouTube vloggers showing up, we have grown to have over 200+ riders came out last year.

One of the best things is its FREE thanks to the help of our sponsors. We put in a lot of hours working and reaching out to sponsor to help make this event fun, and free. A place where no matter what you ride, you can feel welcomed.«

You can find the exact location of the event and more information on the LA 2 SD event webpage. If you want to show up in style, you can take a look at some hoodies, shirts etc.. It just might happen that you will get a signature from your favourite YouTube vlogger on the event as well.
