In the following week, Mr. Wang, founder of SmartMesh, and Mr. Peter Yan, chief scientist of MeshBox, visited all sectors of the Philippines from the assistant to the special envoy of the President and reached a cooperation agreement with Traxion.

In this regard, we try to make a summary with this article to describe the significance of the Philippines and Traxion to the SmartMesh and MeshBox projects, to the blockchain, and even to China.

Geography of China and the Philippines: bilateral relations are stable and better

Bilateral trade and investment between China and the Philippines, as well as cooperation under the “One Belt And One Road” initiative, are providing more and more opportunities for mutual interests and mutual contact and understanding between the two neighbors. At the same time, the infrastructure policies of China and the Philippines correspond to each other, which is an important opportunity for the Philippines to participate in “One Belt And One Road” and infrastructure construction is exactly one of the most important economic policies of Philippine President Duterte.

The Philippines is not only the first step towards the world of MeshBox but also the deep integration of Oriental and western cultures, which makes it possible for the world to have a better understanding of MeshBox.The wide range of overseas Chinese and the pro-Chinese environment make Chinese communication possible in the Philippines. For historical reasons, the Philippines has a very good English foundation. Thanks to their good English and good service spirit, the Philippine people have been exporting a large number of services overseas, which has formed a good reputation and influence worldwide. Chinese language barrier-free, make it possible for MeshBox to cooperate with the Philippines with Chinese resources. English is free, let MeshBox face the English world directly through the Philippines and go global.

Current situation of the Philippines: weak infrastructure and the large gap between rich and poor

Senior world bank advisers have urged the Philippine government to use China’s One Belt And One Road (OBOR) initiative to rely on China to roll out more infrastructure projects and national security assistance. (source: the star, Philippines, 12 July)

“The Philippines needs to connect and connect the many islands it has and its workforce is already very skilled,” said Dr. John Vong, founder and chairman of BBS Asia century programme international (ICMAC), the world bank’s senior adviser for south-east Asia. What is needed is for China to help the Philippines build infrastructure at home.

As Dr. John Vong said, the Philippines has many islands and basic communication coverage is a big problem. At the same time, the Philippines sends more than $33 billion in remittances to the country each year. Due to the imperfect infrastructure such as banking and communications, it is difficult to collect money in China and the gap between the rich and the poor continues to increase.

As the two largest import and export trading countries in the Philippines, how trade relations between China and us develop has a huge impact on the Philippines. About three-quarters of the Philippine business process outsourcing (BPO) industry’s total revenue comes from servicing U.S. companies, according to the research firm. The booming BPO sector, which employs more than 1 million people and generates the income equivalent to 8 percent of GDP, means a hit to the sector could slow overall economic growth. But in the long run, infrastructure is the key.

Taking advantage of the extensive infrastructure cooperation between the Philippines and China and deepening the cooperation with local governments and business communities, it is an ideal development opportunity for MeshBox.

TRAXION is an ideal partner in an ideal country

With so many islands (more than 7,000 islands of Philippine size) and weak infrastructure (underdeveloped communication networks and incomplete banking locations), Traxion is working to bring 600,000 sari-sari stores (neighborhood variety stores) into play as small Banks or remittance centers in the Philippines.

Jorge Azurin, co-founder and business strategist at Traxion, said sari-sari stores will serve as a “bank branch in a remote area” so Filipinos can easily access cash there.

The sari-sari store is the most important form of retail sales in the Philippines, accounting for 75 percent of the country’s annual department store sales, according to the data.

The Philippines covers an area of 299,700 square kilometers, with an average of 0.5 square kilometers (approximately every 700 meters) for a sari-sari store in Traxion. However, due to constraints of Philippine infrastructure, Traxion’s service is still seriously affected by the communication environment, and it is also faced with the threat of power cuts and natural disasters. The mesh AD hoc network system, parallel to the Internet and connected to the Internet, becomes the ideal networking mode in the Philippines. When the Philippine President’s special envoy met with Mr. Wang, founder of SmartMesh, he said personally that “SmartMesh is the ground mesh network that the Internet of the Philippines is looking for connecting with satellites in the future “.The partnership is based precisely on MeshBox hardware.

Just concluded the Asian summit of blockchain (Philippines station) on October 12, Mr. Wang, founder of SmartMesh, gave the keynote speech of connecting the Philippines with SmartMesh and MeshBox.With 60–1 million sari-sari stores, connecting the entire Philippines would become a reality.

From Beijing to Manila to Davao, a strip of water, One Belt And One Road, the road consensus, fruitful. From presidential advisers to presidential envoys to deputy mayor Samal, they helped get the project off the ground.

Let both China and the Philippines prosper the Philippine economy with the help of SmartMesh and MeshBox technologies and promote China-Philippines friendship!
