SmartMesh Spectrum Public Chain Mapping Tutorial

The SmartMesh Spectrum Public Chain launched on April 30, 2018. After a long period of testing, Spectrum is now able to operate independently, steadily and efficiently. Spectrum will start its mapping operations on September 3, 2018. If your SMT is stored on an exchange, wait for an official announcement from them regarding the mapping. If you are using a wallet, please refer to the following instructions for mapping.
Download address: https://smartmesh.io/app/
Operation procedure:
1. Click on the SmartMesh App bottom menu bar “Wallet” option, and select “Import Existing Wallet”.
2. Select “Keystore Import”, copy the existing Keystore, and complete the import.
3. Click “Map” in the main interface of the wallet.
4. Carefully read “Mapping Instructions” and check “I have read”. Click “Start mapping”.
5. Returning to the wallet page shows “Waiting for Mapping”, which means that the operation has been successfully initiated.
6. When the operation is completed, the mapping will be successful.
It should be emphasized that Spectrum uses the same account encryption algorithm as Ethereum, so it is consistent with the ETH wallet address and compatible with all Ethereum applications. During the transfer process, you should pay attention to avoid the following situations to prevent the loss of SMT.
1. Do not deposit Spectrum SMT to an exchange address that does not support Spectrum mapping for the time being.
2. Do not deposit the Spectrum SMT to an address that supports only Ethereum ERC20.
3. Do not deposit the SMT to a wallet backup address.
4. Do not deposit Ethereum ERC20 SMT to the mapped wallet address.
Spectrum runs entirely independent of Ethereum, so you can’t query your wallet in the Ethereum browser after the mapping. If you need to query whether SMT in your wallet has completed the mapping, click http://spectrum.pub/ (Spectrum Browser) to enter your wallet address in the upper right search box to query the SMT coin balance.
The mapping is expected to last 30 days, and after September 30, we will lock all Ethereum ERC20 SMT, so that all SMT Ethereum ERC20 holders will not be able to transfer or trade them after the Spectrum mapping is over.
Thank you for reading this tutorial. SmartMesh is a blockchain-based underlying protocol for the Internet of Things. SmartMesh has built-in blockchain light nodes, extending the Raiden and Lightning networks and other blockchain secondary architecture network protocols to facilitate tokenized network and off-network digital micropayments. Based on blockchain tokens, SmartMesh can self-organize into a resilient, decentralized, self-healing Mesh Networks that provide higher near-field speeds and bandwidth than the Internet, and they are usually free of charge. SmartMesh lets blockchain break through the Internet boundary into the IoT Internet of Things and IoE Internet of Everything.
