Using MyEtherWallet with MetaMask

1: Download the MetaMask Plugin

Visit the MetaMask website and follow the instructions to add the plugin to your Google Chrome browser.

2: Import MyEtherWallet to MetaMask

Option 1: Use Your 12 Words Seed Phrase

Click on the “Restore from seed phrase” link:

Paste your MyEtherWallet 12 Words Seed Phrase and select a new password (this password will be used to access your wallet on MetaMask and will NOT change the password used by MyEtherWallet.)

Option 2: Import UTC/JSON File or Private Key

Click on the plugin and user icon. Slect the option “Import Account”.

Select the option to use a Private Key or JSON file:

Private Key: paste your key and click “Import”:

JSON File: select the JSON/UTC file from your computer and enter the same password you use to access the account on MyEtherWallet:
