Android Market movie rentals will not work on rooted phones

Rooting your phone is popular among Android users because it allows all different types of freedom. However, Google has come out and said that you will not be able to enjoy Android Market movie rentals on your modified device. When you try to rent a movie, you will greeted with an error message that says: Failed to fetch license for [movie title] (error 49). Google claims that rooted devices are not supported due to requirements to copyright protection. We expect someone to figure out a way around this soon enough and will let you know when it happens.
