Apple has filed an application for a patent to advance iPhone with text-to-speech and speech-to-text. The new features explored in the patent involves a text-to-speech and speech-to-text converter to provide new ways to communicate better in noisy and quiet places. The patent may also allow users to send prerecorded notifications to callers when you are not able to answer to phone.

This patent application comes after rumors of Apple partnering with Nuance to offer some sort of voice technology on the iPhone. The company is expected to make an announcement at WWDC about it.
