BlackBerry App World is live

RIM just flipped the switch for BlackBerry App World making it available to folks in US, Canada, and UK. It is available to download over the air or using your desktop. To download over the air hit up mobile.blackberry.com on your BlackBerry Browser, to download using your desktop hit up blackberry.com/appworld. Unfortunately at this time the only way to pay for applications is by using PayPal, but there are still tons of free apps. So far it looks like what we expected and doesn’t look to be much of a competitor to the iPhone App Store as of yet. Check out an overview of App World here.
