BlackBerry OS 5.0 makes an appearence

The video above shows BlackBerry OS 5.0.0.83 running on the Curve 8900. This is the first preview we have seen of OS 5.0 yet and it looks to bring some improvements. Users can now see a status bar when rebooting the device telling you how far your device is to start up. The buttons in menu’s are similar to the Storm now, a memory checker, and flicking through photos with the trackball are some changes we saw during the video . There is still no date on OS 5.0, but we assume it isn’t going to be out for while.
