Droid-Life got a tip from their Verizon sources with rumored release dates for the DROIDX2, LG Revolution, and Xperia Play. The DROIDX2 is rumored to launch on May 12 and will be Verizon’s first dual-core Tegra 2 phone. The Verizon reps are being told to sell through the remaining DX stock to make room for the X2.

The LG Revolution will be the third 4G LTE device, following the DROID Charge. This one is also expected to launch on May 12.

The HTC Trophy will be Verizon’s first Windows Phone 7 smartphone on the Verizon network. If the rumor is correct, this will be the third phone to launch on May 12.

Finally, the long-awaited Sony Xperia Play is rumored to launch on May 26. It has been already released abroad and will first make its debut in the United States on Verizon. It is also known as the PlayStation Phone.
