Palm Pre to cost $549.99 with no contract

We learned today that Sprint is going to be releasing the Palm Pre on June 6 for $199.99 with a two-year contract, however we did not learn the price with no-contract. What better way to find the price than asking a Sprint rep herself? I went into the Sprint Chat with a representative and was told that the phone will cost $549.99 with no contract.
