T-Mobile G2X getting Gingerbread update soon

T-Mobile tweeted that its recently released G2X phone would be getting the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update soon. No date was specified, but the carrier confirmed to one of its followers that he “won’t have to wait long.” The Gingerbread update will bring a newer user interface and more speed to the device, which is currently running Android 2.2 Froyo.
