Verizon launched its second 4G compatible Mobile Hotspot today. Manufactured by Novatel Wireless, the MiFi 4510L will allow users to connect up to Verizon’s 4G LTE network in covered areas, and the 3G network elsewhere. Users can connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices to it

Verizon’s 4G LTE network will allow its customers download speeds of around 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in covered areas. The company is rapidly expanding 4G compatible cities, but the device is backwards compatible with the 3G network.

THe 4G LTE MiFi 4510L Mobile Hotspot is available starting today online and will be available on April 21. The device costs $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract. Plans begin at $50 for 5GB and go up from there.
