Ryan Camp Films is helping many creators with his video tutorials as a content creator and filmmaker with many years’ experience.
I’ve been trying to bring Ryan to the SBP Podcast as a guest for a long time. The story of how I connected with Ryan has to do with an online search for audio and microphones (for my podcast, ironically) and later meeting him on social media.

I became aware of a short film Ryan made with his iPhone 12 Pro Max, because he submitted “2AM” into our 2022 International Mobile Film Festival, in the short film competition.
Ryan shares his history with video that he began when he was very young using a mini DV camera. But it was his rock band that really brought him to realize he wanted to bring his video production game up a notch.
He auditioned for an MTV music TV show and a producer commended the quality of his music videos and offered to hire Ryan in their team.
Long story short, he moved from wedding videos to make narrative films and then he was bit by the smartphone filmmaking bug. As he carried on with his research with camera apps and found Filmic Pro. At the time there were hardly any videos showing people how to use the app, so he began to create his tutorial videos to share his knowledge.
Ryan has become a professional online educator with his video tutorials. His high quality videos teaching many topics. His videos cover apps and gear including editing process how-to tutorials.
Ryan is a great resource for anyone looking to make films who can use a guide through the process. Several of his tutorials cover mobile filmmaking topics as well.
