Recently, we introduced a new smart contract management interface. Today we want to present you another feature in our Dashboard: adding third-party smart contracts. Now you can monitor and manage not only contracts created on Smartz but also any other smart contracts in Ethereum or EOS.

Find a new button “Add an existing contract” in the Dashboard, by clicking you will see the form for adding a new smart contract. Next, you need to fill only two fields:

  • Contract address (for example: Ethereum 0x40ae4acd08e65714b093bf2495fd7941aedfa231, EOS EOS82LzjXdnBPTwgJCxiUiRcVsxdiawn8MiAgVTfFZV41a4X7aMuI)
  • Dapp name (this name is used only in Smartz Dashboard)

Nota Bene: If you want to add a smart contract in Ethereum Mainnet, then the proper network must be selected in your MetaMask client (or similar software).

Adding third-party smart contracts

Smart contract of absolutely any project can be added: CryptoKitties, Bancor, ForkDelta or others. Also, its code must be verified on Etherscan for the complete functionality of a smart contract. We have a special tutorial on how you can get it in our Wiki section.

Try the new feature and tell us your thoughts in the comments section below! Join our chat in Telegram!
