SMG Technologies Teams Up with Randwick Rugby, closing Baseline Deal
BRISBANE, 25th MAY 2016 — SMG Technologies Ltd (SMG) has announced Randwick District Rugby Union Club (Randwick Rugby) as the latest customer to come on board its Baseline product.
Signing up this month, Randwick Rugby chose Baseline, the first and only product worldwide to offer semi-elite clubs and teams the opportunity to tap into the technology engine used by elite professionals, at an accessible price point.
Nick Ryan, Director of Rugby at Randwick Rugby said that with a strong start to the 2016 season, the Club was looking for a way to maintain momentum and power-up its performance.

Over 150 staff and athletes at Randwick Rugby will have access to the Baseline product. From an athlete perspective, this means maximising visibility around patterns of athlete performance, with the ultimate goal of keeping them performing at their optimum. For coaches, it means improved ways of tackling the demands of team management, whilst providing a predictive model to protect athletes from potential injury.
Player welfare is at the heart of the Baseline system, monitoring all facets including mental, physical and technical performance, injury management and team/club logistics. This supports coaching staff in getting the most out of their athletes, whilst encouraging athletes to strive for continuous improvement.
