Gene Cutler is making lives better by helping people foresee the worst

(A Featured Provider in Smile Longer program) About 70% of Americans over 65 will need some form of long-term care at some point, according to the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services, but most fail to protect themselves financially.

Gene Cutler, a long-term care insurance agent since 1994, thinks he knows why. We find it painful to think of ever needing help with everyday things like eating, moving around, or going to the bathroom. So he invites people to “embrace the person you don’t want to meet.”

This might seem like a hard sell, but Cutler makes it work. He explains in the video below:

The results speak for themselves. In his decades-long career, he has protected about 5,000 clients with long-term care policies, which ease the strain on families when costly care needs arise.

And he has built a $7.5-million-dollar book of business, one of the largest in the industry.

Cutler made his video using the built-in camera on his Dell PC. First he created a script, which he posted on a corner of his PC monitor. Then he simply read the script while the camera app ran.

He considered recording himself with his iPad, but the PC was handy and also displayed the script.

Based in New York, Cutler is one of America’s leading long term care insurance specialists, with ACSIA Partners. His website: genecutler.com.
