Smilo update — Newsletter & Progress
Lately, there has been an immense progress behind the scenes of Smilo, and we are very excited to post a couple of the latest updates.
Newsletter
To keep all our Smilo supporters up to date, we have decided to start sending newsletters summarising our progress. The newsletter will give you an overview of the most important Smilo updates and Smilo explanations, as well as some of our upcoming events. Roadmap
The last few months were incredibly busy, but also very productive!
In the first eight months of 2018 we:
- Managed to create the first working Smilo blockchain prototype (Github)
- Developed a light wallet, and its Android and IOS applications
- Redesigned the Smilo website
- Started the development of SmiloVM, SmiloContract, and the Smilo SDK
In the remaining four months of 2018 we are planning to:
- Continue work on the prototype
- Launch Smilo’s testnet
- Publish the first light wallet
- Expand our community
In 2019 we are planning to:
- Execute community-driven performance tests
- Help partners with the first decentralised applications
- Build Smilo’s secret decentralised application
- Launch Mainnet
- Distribute the Smilo tokens
- List on multiple exchanges
- Support the use of a hardware wallet
- Launch multiple decentralised applications
- Start the development of Smilo’s decentralised exchange
In the coming years we are planning to:
- Implement sharding
- Expand the support for hardware wallets
- Implement off-chain transactions.
